It is not often that you see a club treasurer smiling when he (or she) is paying out money, but Lancaster and Morecambe Lions Club treasurer, Nigel Alston of Halton, was only to pleased to make out a cheque for £250 to help Lune Valley's cycling policeman, Ian Johnston's campaign to buy specially built cycles to give disabled children the experience of cycling.
